I don't have this one, but I do have Jenflower's Homework Sometimes And I think these two mods may be compatible with each other as well. (As someone who received no homework at all until 11, then got it some days and not others, it makes sense for me, especially as the only other way to differentiate students' results is to have some skip school)..

I have Cyjon's Harder Homework plus Partial Homework Credit, because I like to be mean to my Sims sometimes and it was a bit silly how everyone was either getting A+ or flunking entirely.

I hate a few things from the game, and lucky me, most of them can be "fixed".

> The "Special events camera": I like watching it once or twice, but after so many years having to stop everything in my game to see my Sims woohooing, is kind of annoying. I usually take them off the game as soon as I start playing.
> The Sims turning on the radio every single second of the day: I've spend so much time having them turning off that thing. I usually end up deleting/not buying the radio.
> The Sims constantly using the computer: specially the guests. If there's a computer in the house, every single Sim will want to touch it at least once.
> "Bored" Sims forcefeeding the baby: self explanatory.
> "Bored" Sims constantly bathing the toddlers: it's like they're going through a checklist of "do this 100 times a day".
> Lost homework: every single time a kid or teen comes back from school for the first time I have to stop what I'm doing and follow them to check where they leave their homework.
> Sims "forgetting" what you told them to do: more than once a Sim is dying of hunger, but because that evil plate is in the way, they can't get their way around and forget that I actually told them to go prepare something to eat.
> The chess table curse: you have one in your house, and it's like the computer. Every Sim will want to play it. It can also trigger the "stuck arm" glitch.
> Watching the neighbors through the telescope (day time): I HATE when my Sims do that on their own. I had so many friendships broken because of this.

That's all I can remember for now. But even with those, I still love the game like the very first day I got it.

A couple of solutions for this. (Pescado's mod is the most extreme, while the two BO mods are the least. Pick depending on what suits you best.)

Force Error with testingcheatsenabled on can reset the stuck arm.

A few solutions for this (note that the game always chooses the lowest numbered playable Sim in the neighbourhood to be the shover, which can be a bit frustrating if they're not particularly grouchy).

Thanks ihatemandatoryregister, I know there are mods for this out there, but I want to play the game as clean as possible. In fact, I have the Insimenator, a mod I always use when playing, and I'm not using it now (I also used the desk homework mod).
I posted those because those are things I don't exactly like about the game, not because I want them fixed. I usually fix them the normal way (repeating the order, cancelling the order, deleting the item, etc).

Fair enough. Just thought I'd throw the options out there.

I still gave you thumbs up for "agree" and "helpfull", and I really appreciate the effort. Maybe one day I'll want to play again with mods, but for now I'm living the nostalgia of playing The Sims 2 the same way I played back in 2004.
(Fun fact, the very first mods I used were made by Maxis themselves for the Sims 1. Yes, I'm that old).

@Dimm Nogal around here 'old' is average. Many of us have been playing computer games since Pong came out. I hope your game includes all the essential fixes since clean games have code in place that if not fixed by mods can blow hoods up.

Hehehe, glad to know that. I've been playing Sims since 2001 (couldn't get it the year of its release), and I've seen quite a lot of glitches and bug (and crashes) in my gameplay.

I have the base game with 4 discs, but decided to install the Deluxe Pack (base and Nightlife) because two things:
- I don't have the patience I had back in 2004 to install those 4 discs.
- For what I remember, some stuff was fixed for the Deluxe pack (I may be wrong).

As of now, the game is running really smooth, no problems at all. I just pointed out what annoys me in-game, but luckyly those things are not game crashing.

Still, thanks for the advice. In any case, if I see the game starts giving me troubles, I'll add the mods mentioned up there.

She's referring to nounlinkondelete and creaturefixes. Neighbourhoods are very prone to corruption (to sum it up, don't delete Sims from the bin and don't move occupied lots to the bin) - deleting gravestones is one way to break it. And even if you're careful, the game isn't always. Once a neighbourhood's corrupted there's really not much way to fix it and eventually down the line you likely end up with Sims disappearing or the hood completely vanishing from the loading menu.

Creaturefixes keeps vampires from biting Mrs. Crumplebottom (which can corrupt the objects.package), but unless you have Nightlife this isn't really something to worry about. Just don't do anything silly like try to add the Grim Reaper or NPC Remote Control Car to your families.
